Congratulations to the HHS Track Team State Qualifiers: Andrew Bara, Bryce Fowler, Carrie Haguewood, Jeff McConnell, Jacob Moses, Emma Osmin, Seth Palmer and Conner Pappas.
The HHS Softball Team will be competing as the number one seed in the District Championship game at the District Tournament in Heppner on Saturday, May 19. The Mustangs game will follow the first game which starts at 12:00 p.m. The estimated Mustang start will be approximately 2:30 p.m. The opponent is to be determined.
There will be an NHS meeting today during lunch.
The HHS “Mustang Mop Up” community service day will be Thursday, May 17.
The HHS Night of Excellence will be held on May 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the HES gym.
The district food service will no longer allow charging in the lunch room.

Eastern Oregon University is offering a three week Summer Institute for high school students to experience three weeks of university life. The dates will be June 25-August 3. Brochures and application forms are available in the holder outside the office.
There will be a Driver’s Education course offered at Hermiston High School beginning on June 11 through July 27. There are brochures with more information available in the holder outside the office.

The ODOT Litter Patrol applications are being accepted online at www.odotjobs.com. The information is posted on the student bulletin board.
Hermiston Foods is hiring for summer employment. See Ms. Martin if you are interested in finding out more about it or to pick up an application.
SENIOR INFORMATION
Senior parent s may purchase a parent statement for $15 to be printed by the senior photo in the yearbook. The statements are due by May 17. Please submit statements to Mr. Rosenbalm or the office.
A student ambassador from BMCC will be here tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. to meet with seniors and interested juniors in the library.
The Clarence Buchanan scholarship is due today by 5:00 p.m. Applications may be submitted to the HHS office or Dr. Tim Dickenson.
The senior girls’ Mother Daughter Tea will be held at the Heppner Elks Lodge tomorrow at 11: 30 a.m.
