There is a TSA meeting during lunch today to prepare for the December competitions.
OSU Representatives Visit Today!
Representatives from Oregon State University will be in Mrs. Payne’s room today at 12:10 pm to meet with interested students.
Seniors Fire and Fuels Camp Meeting – December 2
Kathryn Gray from the US Forest Service will be at HHS to talk to all seniors who are interested in applying for the Fire and Fuels Camp on December 2 during Activity Period in the Library. The camp dates are March 6-8, 2015. Applications are due on December 19.
Junior High Boys Basketball
There are added Junior High Boys Basketball games on Thursday in Irrigon. The C team, B team and A team will each have a game, in that order, beginning at 4:30 p.m. The bus will leave at 2:30. The games on Saturday have been canceled.
Junior High Girls Basketball - November 24
Junior High Girls’ Basketball will start basketball practice on November 24th.
Flu Shots Offered at HHS – November 25
The Morrow County Health Department will be offering flu shots at HHS on November 25, from 10:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. There are consent forms available at the office for students under fifteen years of age.
Student Photo Retakes – December 3
Student photo retakes will be on December 3 after lunch. You must return your picture packet for credit if you have already paid. New photo packets are available on the office counter.
BMCC Poster Contest
Create the winning BMCC poster and win $250 cash! The poster should contain creative art and text designed to answer why you should consider attending BMCC when you graduate. The contest is open to Morrow County students enrolled in grades 9-12. The poster should not exceed 11 x 17 inches and are due before 5:00 p.m. on December 19, 2014. Details are posted on the student bulletin board.
Holiday Greens Workshop Orders
Heppner Agriculture students and FFA members will creating wreaths, swags, crosses, candy canes and centerpieces for purchase during the week of December 8-11. The Greens Workshop previously done by the Heppner Garden Club will be back in existence due to the generosity of the donation of tools and equipment of the HGC. FBLA Pie Sale
HHS Future Business Leaders of America is taking orders for homemade pies for Thanksgiving. They will be frozen and delivered the week of November 25-27th. Please pre order no later than November 18th. The pies available are: Apple, pecan, cherry, pumpkin, berry, peach, and oreo. Each pie will be $15. Winter Track Club
Any 9-12th grade students interested in participating in Winter Track Club, beginning after Thanksgiving, on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school please contact Mrs. Winters. This is open to all 9-12 students.

Jostens Representative Dates
A representative from Josten’s will be at HHS on December 1 to meet with sophomores at 10:00 and seniors at 10:30 regarding class ring and graduation orders. He will return on December 9 to take orders from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Junior High Club Wrestling
