JV Football Game Time Change - 4:30 today at Pilot Rock.  Players are dismissed at 2:00 p.m.

Booster Club Steak Feed & Auction – October 4 Dinner-6:30  Auction-7:30 p.m.

Dinner ticket prices are $15/person or $65/family.  Tickets are available for purchase at Murray’s Drug or Bank of Eastern Oregon or at the door the night of the event.  There are eight VIP tables available for purchase for $300/table. The live auction, silent auction and raffle, along with the dinner, will all take place downstairs this year. For VIP table reservations or other Booster Club questions please contact Melissa Lindsay at 541-256-0366.

Homecoming week - September 29th – October 3rd

This year’s homecoming theme is “Celebrating 50 years of HHS”.  The HHS building was finished in 1963 so the graduating class of 1964 was the first class to graduate from this building. The class of 1964 will be holding their 50 year class reunion on homecoming weekend with the homecoming court from their senior year riding on a float during half time of the game.

Homecoming Dress Up Days

Monday – Color Day; JH – Red, Freshmen – Green, Sophomore – Orange, Junior – Purple, Senior – Black

Tuesday – Salt and Pepper Day Dress up with a partner as things that go together.

Wednesday – Beach Day Students still need to meet dress code,

Thursday – Blue and Gold Day

Homecoming activities:

Hall Decorating - Friday, September 26 from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Monday and Tuesday - AM assembly schedule for pep assemblies.

Wednesday - no daytime assembly, beach activities up on the practice football field with bonfire to follow in the north end gravel parking lot.

Thursday – noise parade and pep assembly at football field. Students will go to 5th period and we will decorate during 6th period and leave the school at 2:00 p.m.

Friday – homecoming game followed by dance, 9:30 – 12:00/12:30.

Drama Practice Schedule

Beginning on September 23, drama practice will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.

FFA Meeting Tonight!

The first FFA meeting of the year will be tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the Ag Room. 

Drama Practice Schedule

There will be practice tonight at 6:30 p.m. Beginning on September 23, practice will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.

Junior High students who want to organize and implement school and community projects throughout the year are invited to apply for the Junior High Leadership Team.  Students selected to this team must be willing to uphold high standards in academics and behavior as positive examples throughout the year.  Applications are due to Mrs. Payne by 4:00 p.m. tomorrow.
