Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Donations

Heppner Math Students will be sewing blankets in Mrs. Nelson’s room tonight from 4-8 p.m. for Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. They are accepting donations through February 12. There will be drop boxes located at Heppner Family Foods and Murray’s Drug for school and art supplies, books, toys and game donations. Cash and check donations, payable to Heppner High School, to purchase supplies will also be accepted. Blankets must be made from new material with sewn edges and no knotted edges. Project Graduation Meeting Tonight

There will be a senior parent Project Graduation meeting tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the HHS Library.

Sadies Dance – February 11

There will be a Sadies Dance hosted by the sophomores on Thursday, February 11 from 8:00 – 11:00 p.m. in the HES gym foyer. The theme is “Fire & Ice” so dress as opposites.  The cost will be $5 for singles and $8 for doubles. Dance Guest passes are due by the end of the Tuesday.

Tupper Counselor Applications

Tupper Outdoor School Counselor Applications for 9-12th grade students are available in the holder outside the office.  Applications are due to the office by 4:00 p.m. on March 10.  Tupper Outdoor School will be held April 25-28.

FFA News

FFA members wanting to attend the hockey game on Saturday, March 12, need to sign up in the Ag Room.

State FFA Convention is March 18-21 in Corvallis. Please pay your $50 deposit and sign up in the Ag Room as soon as possible to reserve a spot.

FFA members interested in applying for a proficiency award, come see Mrs. Dickenson or Ms. White next week!  You can earn up to $300 if your application wins at state.

9-12 Track Meeting – February 8

There will be a 9-12 grade track meeting today at 11:45 a.m. in the library.  Please eat your lunch before the meeting.

Sadies Dance – February 11

State FFA Degree candidates presentations are tonight at 6:00 p.m.
